I spent yesterday evening and this morning in the South End and I’m still reeling from its overwhelming charm. You always hear about how beautiful the South End is, but in all my years at Northeastern, I’ve never really explored it until this summer. Flour Bakery + Cafe is this orgasmically amazing little place located on Washington St. My only complaint is that every time I have been it is so busy, but I can’t blame everyone for going. This morning I had one of their over-sized, freshly baked blueberry muffins and a small cappuccino. It has been the perfect start to my day, despite this rain. There are millions of other food venues in the area that I’m dying to explore as well, but unfortunately I’m still recovering from the debt I accrued while in Europe. Anyway, I urge all of you Bostonian students to explore the South End (aka the Gayborhood of Boston) if you haven’t already. It’s absolutely fabulous to say the least. Later darlings.
